There’s a lot of things I could do tonight
Call up some old friend just to see if they’re all right
I could read a book
Maybe something by Louis L’Amour
Oh but I don’t’ feel like doing that at all

I could play guitar, maybe write a song
Something really inspirational that everybody could sing along
I could build a fire and watch it burn all night long
Oh but I don’t feel like doing that at all
